Pakistan ready to place major order for LNG cargoes

State-owned company Pakistan LNG is ready to order 240 LNG cargoes, to be delivered over a 10-year period.

State-owned company Pakistan LNG Limited is on the hunt for 240 new LNG cargoes, states a document in which the company inquires for bids on the large order from several international suppliers.

The new ships will be delivered over a 10-year period, corresponding to about 2 cargoes per month. Each cargo will have a capacity of 140,000 cubic meters of LNG.

3i buys AMP out of Esvagt

Private equity firm 3i, which owns half of carrier Esvagt, has agreed with the company's second owner, AMP Capital, to take over all of Esvagt for GBP 268 million, making 3i the sole owner. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
