Nordic American Tankers reduces loss in second quarter

Nordic American Tankers' red figures on the bottom line diminished in the second quarter of 2019 compared to the year prior, shows the company's most recent interim report. Nordic American Tankers experienced significantly higher rates in 2019.

Higher rates helped to slightly improve tanker company Nordic American Tankers' bottom line. The company thus exits the 2019 second quarter with a significantly smaller deficit than in the same quarter of 2018.

The tanker company lost USD 4.9 million in the most recent quarter, while the loss for the corresponding quarter last year amounted to USD 17.5 million.
