Euronav buys new VLCC with scrubber installed

Tanker ship operator Euronav has now acquired four VLCC newbuilds in a short period of time, as it has just taken over a ship that is being built in South Korea. The latest ship also has a scrubber installed.

Belgian tanker shipping company Euronav has again acquired a VLCC newbuild with a scrubber installed.

About a month ago, it was revealed that Euronav had acquired three VLCC ships with scrubbers installed, which are being built at yard Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, DSME, in South Korea.
