US to sanction even more tanker vessels

The Trump administration plans to add another 50 tanker vessels to its sanction list, writes Bloomberg.

The US plans to add more tankers to its list of sanctioned vessels.

According to Bloomberg, up to 50 more ships will become subject to US sanctions. The US list already counts approximately 130 sanctioned vessels, writes the media based on data from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), which belongs under the Department of the Treasury. Just one year ago, that figure was 80.
