Saudi Arabia's Bahri orders ten new chemical tankers

South Korean Hyundai Mipo Dockyard is to build ten new chemical tankers for Saudi Arabia's Bahri in a new order worth more than USD 400 million.

State-owned shipping company Bahri from Saudi Arabia orders ten new chemical tankers for a total sum of USD 410 million, Bahri says in an announcement.

The order is entered with South Korean shipyard Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, part of Hyundai Heavy Industries. The first ship is slated for delivery in the first quarter of 2022 and is part of Bahri's strategy to expand its maritime activities and rejuvenate its fleet.
