Nordic American Tankers to issue new bonds for millions of dollars

Bermuda-based Nordic American Tankers, which recently ordered two new Suezmax vessels, gears up to issuing new shares for upwards of USD 60 million.

Tanker operator Nordic American Tankers, listed in New York, plans a new equity injection that enables the company issue new shares for upwards of USD 60 million.

This is far from the first time that Nordic American Tankers taps the capital market for fresh money. According to Finansvisen, the Bermuda-based tanker operator has completed capital expansions in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
