Covid-19 contagion is picking up speed again across the world, causing uncertainty about demand for oil products such as diesel, in particular, in the coming months, in which activity is expected to drop.
The second wave of the coronavirus pandemic therefore has oil traders, rather unusually, demanding new supertankers for use as floating diesel storage in coming months, where it might be difficult to find buyers for the product, writes Reuters.
