Stolt Tankers forms joint venture with Essberger Tankers in Europe

Tanker operator Stolt Tankers joins forces with Essberger Tankers for a new joint venture that covers 48 smaller tankers. The partnership will especially help Stolt-Nielsen reduce costs, says CEO.

Tanker operator Stolt Tankers forms a joint venture with Essberger Tankers, which will be naked E&S Tankers.

With the partnership, the two tanker operators combine their fleets of a total of 48 ships in the 2,800 to 11,300 dwt range, which operate in Europe mainly in the Baltic Sea, the Mediterranean and Northwest Europe.
