Italian tanker operator d'Amico had to book a deficit of USD 1.7 million for the third quarter, but the company profits at USD 15.4 million after three quarters this year.

Tanker shipping line d'Amico has had a strong year on the product tanker market so far, with a total profit on its bottom line of USD 15.4 million after three quarters.

The first half in particular was strong and made the Italian carrier's results soar after nine months. In the first half of the year, demand for capacity was high because the market was flooding with oil, making freight rates skyrocket.
