The long-term positive outlook on the tanker market remains unchanged for Nordic American Tankers, which only sees delays of a few months – not years. "A low oil price is good for the world economy and works as a stimulus for recovery," states interim report.

Nordic American Tankers maintains its positive outlook on the tanker market, in which the orderbook is low and new orders have more or less been put on hold, writes NAT in its third-quarter interim report.

In the quarter, the shipping company both increased its revenue and reduced its deficit.

3i buys AMP out of Esvagt

Private equity firm 3i, which owns half of carrier Esvagt, has agreed with the company's second owner, AMP Capital, to take over all of Esvagt for GBP 268 million, making 3i the sole owner. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
