Analyst firm sees record-high LPG rates soften

The record-high rates in the LPG are set to slide, projects Clarksons Platou. The rates recently peaked at USD 110,000 per day, but now a series of factors will pull them down, says the firm.

The largest VLGC tanker vessels experienced a boom as rates have soared and last week hit a record-high of around USD 110,000 per day in the spot market. But things now look set to move in another direction, at least for some time, projects analyst firm Clarksons Platou.
