Alba Tankers has bought new ships and made USD 16 million in five years

Tanker operator Alba Tankers, which was created out of OW Bunker's dramatic collapse, has added millions of dollars to its bottom line, shows annual report. In recent years, the shipping company has bought new ships and increased its workforce by almost 100 people, executives tell ShippingWatch.

Alba Tankers continues to expand its business these years.

The tanker operator, headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark, has been growing its fleet and its activities continuously since it emerged almost six years ago as an independent company from the ashes of OW Bunker's bankruptcy, taking over operation of six tanker vessels from the collapsed bunker major.
