Nordic American Tankers books full-year profit despite red fourth quarter

A big dip in both revenue and earnings in the last three months of the year was not enough to spoil the fact Nordic American Tankers booked a net-result of USD 50 million for the year as a whole.

The pattern is somewhat the same for Nordic American Tankers as for several of the carrier's biggest competitors in the tanker market.

A very weak fourth quarter in 2020 hurt both the revenue and earnings of the Bermuda-based tanker carrier – but for the year as a whole, the company achieved a decent profit of nearly USD 50 million.
