Flex LNG raises expectations for fourth quarter

Gas carrier Flex LNG more than doubles its revenue in the third quarter, and the bull market has continued into the fourth quarter, with CEO Øystein Kalleklev reporting record-high levels in the spot market.

The turbulent gas transport market is elevating the third quarter results of John Fredriksen-owned operator Flex LNG. Chief Executive Officer Øystein Kalleklev describes the spot market as being at an "all time high".

Revenue at Flex LNG, which transports liquefied natural gas (LNG), grew from USD 33.1 million in the third quarter of 2020 to USD 81.7 million in the third quarter of 2021.
