Hafnia in talks to buy 12 ships from Scorpio Tankers

Tanker operator Hafnia is in negotiations with Scorpio Tankers on buying 12 LR1 product tankers, the carrier confirms in a stock exchange notice Thursday.

Hafnia is negotiating with Scorpio Tankers on taking over a fleet of vessels.

More specifically, the Singapore-based product tanker operator is mulling an acquisition of 12 LR1 product tankers from the New York-listed tanker carrier part of major group Scorpio, Hafnia confirms in a Thursday notice to the Euronext exchange in Oslo.
