Maersk Tankers customer demands suspected ship hauled out of EU

Oil carrier Maersk Magellan is suspected of violating EU sanctions against Russia. Now its to be sailed to a port outside of the EU.

An unnamed customer had chartered oil carrier Maersk Magellan to transport oil cargo to Europe. Now, that same customer demands that the ship is sailed out of the EU and away from the harsh sanctions on Russia, confirms Maersk Tanker in writing to ShippingWatch.
