Media: China ramping up inspections of aging tankers
Older tankers may encounter delays when going into China as the country demands more detailed information about these ships. This is mainly due to a fear of oil leaks, Reuters writes.
Several ports in China’s Shandong province are allegedly demanding increased information about oil tankers that are more than 15 years old.
