Eitzen Chemical, like many other tanker carriers, was forced to face the reality that early 2014 did not turn out as good as the carrier had hoped for and calculated with at the beginning of the year.
The carrier finished the first three months of the year with a net deficit of USD 26 million, a bigger deficit than both the previous quarter as well as the same period last year.
