Stock-listed gas carrier BW LPG - part of the BW Group conglomerate where Norden's now former CEO Carsten Mortensen will soon take over the reins as new Group CEO - is particularly well positioned to exploit the the expected increase in US LPG exports, says Drewry in a new analysis.

"BW LPG is a leading player in the VLGC segment and is supported strongly by BW Group, an international player in the maritime sector. The company has expanded its LPG fleet in recent years, aggressively acquiring VLGC's, including the acquisition of 10 VLGC vessels from Maersk in May 2013. It is well positioned to exploit the potential surge in LPG exports from the US," says Drewry.
