
Belgian Euronav announced yesterday that the carrier is investing in four VLCC's for its growing fleet of ships in the largest tanker segment.
The four ships have an average age of three years and Euronav is paying a total of USD 342 for the vessels. Three of the ships will be delivered in the second half of this year, while the last ship will not be delivered until the spring of 2015. The four ships consist of two former Maersk ships and two former Bright ships.
