Four companies to handle large-scale Egyptian LNG import

Four international companies will help import 75 LNG shipments to Egypt for a total value of USD 2.2 billion.

Egypt needs new energy, and one way in which the country plans to secure this energy is by importing LNG. Specifically, 75 shipments for a total USD 2.2 billion will be imported in the coming years through four monthly transports performed by four international carriers, according to several media reports.
