Chairman: Nordic Shipholding aims to grow

"It has never been the aim for our major shareholder that the company would stay at this size. They want to see growth and liquidity in the share," says Knud Pontoppidan, Chairman of Nordic Shipholding, to ShippingWatch.

After several years of very turbulent conditions at Nordic Shipholding, a long-lasting financial restructuring, with a new owner in the form of the Asian private equity fund PAG, the small listed product tanker company has emerged on the other side still breathing. And now with black numbers on the bottom line.

"We are pleased with the fact that the market since fall has developed nicely entering 2015, and this is also reflected in a nice first quarter," Knud Pontoppidan, Chairman of Nordic Shipholding, tells ShippingWatch:
