CEO: Gener8 Maritime in strong performance

Gener8 Maritime achieved higher rates and lower bunker costs than one year ago, and new vessels are joining the fleet, according to the third quarter interim report.

Gener8 Maritime is back in the black in the third quarter with a USD 36.5 million, compared to a deficit of USD 14.3 million in the same period last year, according to the carrier's third quarter interim report.

In the same period, revenue increased big-time to USD 78.8 million from USD 31.8 million for the same quarter last year.
