Team Tankers: Strong market conditions for the rest of 2015

Chemical carrier Team Tankers delivered even better results for the third quarter, where the carrier improved on both profit and turnover. This trend is expected to last to the end of the year.

Team Tankers, formerly Eitzen Chemical, reported improved rates in the otherwise squeezed market for the transport of chemical products in the third quarter, where the carrier delivered increased profit and a slightly higher turnover.

The tanker carrier's net result for the third quarter landed at USD 7.4 million against USD 4.6 million in the previous quarter, and a deficit of USD 23.7 million in the third quarter of last year.
