
The time was not right after all for an IPO of Singapore-based product tanker carrier BW Pacific, which has been on the road for the past two weeks to present its case to potential investors. But the plans have now been called off, informed the company on Friday.
BW Group CEO Carsten Mortensen stresses to ShippingWatch that BW Pacific has a strong financial footing in spite of the canceled IPO attempt, adding that even though an Oslo listing was not possible this time around, such a move could return as a possible scenario for the carrier:
