No IPO for Hafnia Tankers before 2016

All signs indicate that Hafnia Tankers will not seek a New York listing before 2016. BW Pacific's failed IPO reflects a stock market with little investor appetite for shipping shares in general.

It will in all likelihood not be this year that Hafnia Tankers moves forward with its plans for an IPO on the New York Stock Exchange, as announced in May. Particularly in light of BW Pacific's failed attempt to seek a listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange, a development which reflects a current reluctance from investors to invest in shipping stocks at this time, sources tell ShippingWatch.
