Nordic American Tankers sees healthy tanker market in 2016

Norwegian carrier Nordic American Tankers projects a solid fourth quarter, while the balance between the tanker fleet and demand indicates a healthy 2016, says CEO Herbjørn Hansson.

When Herbjørn Hansson, CEO of Norwegian carrier Nordic American Tankers (NAT), looks toward next year, things are looking sound with a solid balance between growth in the tanker fleet and the demand for oil transports, he notes in an update to the carrier's shareholders. And the year's final month also looks good for the carrier:

"We expect that the fourth quarter 2015 will be good as we approach a strong winter market," he says.
