US authorities will block Wilhelmsen acquisition

Competition authorities in the US consider Wilhelmsen's acquisition of a supplier problematic and have filed a complaint to block the transaction. The Norwegian company disagrees with the decision.

US competition regulators are looking to block Norwegian Wilhelmsen Maritime Services' acquisition of supplier Drew Marine.

The Norwegian company informs in a notice to the stock exchange that the US Federal Trade Commission, FTC, has said that it will file a complaint against the planned acquisition.
