EU places another major flag state on its tax shelter blacklist

EU is now expanding its blacklist of nations that do not cooperate in terms of tax collection. One of the world's ten largest flag states has been added to the list, while another has been removed.

BRUSSELS

The EU's finance ministers will today, Tuesday, add four nations to their list of countries that can be described as tax havens, including the Bahamas, the world's seventh-largest flag state measured in gross tonnage.
