Clarksons Platou projects scrubbers for Maersk Line's biggest ships

Even though Maersk has publicly said it will not use scrubbers in its fleet, this could very well be a possible scenario for the Triple-E ships, for one reason in particular, projects Clarksons Platou in a new analysis.

Though Maersk somewhat loudly rejected scrubbers as a solution to meet the global sulfur directive coming into force in 2020, the technology could perhaps still end up on some of the ships in the liner company's fleet, conclude analysts Frode Mørkedal and Herman Hildan of Clarksons Platou.
