Though Maersk somewhat loudly rejected scrubbers as a solution to meet the global sulfur directive coming into force in 2020, the technology could perhaps still end up on some of the ships in the liner company's fleet, conclude analysts Frode Mørkedal and Herman Hildan of Clarksons Platou.
