Zeamarine in talks to acquire Hansa Heavy Lift

According to ShippingWatch's sources, Zeamarine is currently in talks with Hansa Heavy Lift for an acquisition. "We're still in a couple of negotiations for mergers and takeovers," goes the only comment from Zeamarine.

Germany's Zeaborn has been on an intense acquisition spree since its launch in 2014. Backed by money from major investor Zech Group, the shipping company first acquired Rickmers-Linie, which before that had acquired NPC Projects, and in the spring of this year the company formed a joint venture with US-based Intermarine to create major player Zeamarine.

And the spree does not end here.
