Stena Impero departs Iranian port after release

Oil tanker Stena Impero, seized by Iran in July, has now departed the Iranian port where it was detained and is sailing toward Dubai.

Swedish-owned tanker ship Stena Impero, which Iran arrested in July, departed Iranian port Bandar Abbas early Friday morning CET, shows tracking data news agency Reuters has access to.

Iran informed Monday this week that the ship would soon be released.
