Unifeeder acquires feeder company in Singapore

DP World-owned Unifeeder has purchased the majority of a feeder company based in Singapore. With this acquisition, Unifeeder expects to extend its feeder services and broaden its European shortsea network while also expanding its logistics facilities.

It has only been slightly more than a year since feeder shipping line Unifeeder was acquired by Dubai-based DP World, but now the company has itself gone shopping.

In a press statement, Unifeeder says that the company has purchased the majority of Singapore-based Feedertech Group. The group operates two companies: Feedertech, which provides feeder services, and Perma, a regional shortsea network.

3i buys AMP out of Esvagt

Private equity firm 3i, which owns half of carrier Esvagt, has agreed with the company's second owner, AMP Capital, to take over all of Esvagt for GBP 268 million, making 3i the sole owner. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
