Claus Hemmingsen joins board of Maersk family's holding company

The Maersk family's holding company, which owns 40 percent of the container shipping company, adds Claus Hemmingsen and former Google director to its board.

Former Maersk top executive and current chairman of Maersk Drilling, Claus Hemmingsen, joins the board of directors of the Maersk family's holding company, A.P. Moller Holding, informs the company.

"Claus has an in-depth knowledge of our Group heritage and values, combined with extensive international, commercial and leadershipexperience from shipping & logistics and the energy market," says APM Holding Chair Ane Mærsk Mc-Kinney in the press release.
