Passenger business became a burden for DFDS

When the coronavirus outbreak made countries shut down, the passenger business weighed down DFDS, chief executive tells Børsen.

The coronavirus crisis has made DFDS adjust its business so that, going forward, the passenger business accounts for a smaller part – and represents a significantly smaller risk, reports Danish business daily Børsen.

Going forward, DFDS will focus more on developing its cargo business with more integrated and digital solutions, while the passenger business will continue in a smaller format, for instance with fewer entertainment options.
