Color Line slashes costs and plans to lay off 300 employees

A new plan will reduce costs at ferry operator Color Line. This means that 300 employees will be laid off both on the ferries and on shore.

Ferry operator Color Line faces a new round of layoffs as part of the new cost reduction measure in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.

The shipping company will reduce costs by around NOK 300 million (USD 33.7 million), and this will impact 300 employees both on shore and on the ferries, says Color Line in a press release.
