Court allows case on unfitness against Thor Stadil and Thorco execs

A Danish court has given the trustee permission to launch a case for disqualification for unfitness against Stadil and several other Thorco executives. If Stadil is convicted, he risks having to leave Thornico.

A court in Denmark has given the go-ahead for a case against Thor Stadil and several executives in shipping company Thorco, who may end up being barred from running a Danish business for a number of years.

In August, a trustee recommended that Stadil and three other top executives should be tried for unfitness, as they had displayed "grossly irresponsible business conduct" while heading the now bankrupt subsidiary TS Chartering.
