DFDS raises its 2021 outlook

Better-than-expected freight results lead DFDS to upgrade its 2021 outlook. At the beginning of the year, the outlook was low, but the recovery has since been faster than the company expected, said DFDS.

Four months into 2021, DFDS is now ready to raise its full-year guidance. The company attributes the upgrade to better results achieved on its freight than expected, states the company in a notice to the stock exchange.

"There was, as anticipated, a considerable slowdown in volumes linked to the UK in January following the UK stockbuilding in Q4 2020. Since then, volumes have recovered faster than expected," writes DFDS in the notice.
