BW LPG and Klaveness call on Poseidon Principles to raise its ambitions

The level of ambition needs to be raised for the Poseidon Principles, which are currently based on the IMO targets, say both Klaveness and BW LPG. "So far it's been a very limited impact," says BW LPG Chief Exec Anders Onarheim.

For the shipping industry to really become greener, the Poseidon Principles' level of ambition needs to be raised, say BW LPG and Klaveness.

They contend that the regulatory framework should be based on a target of of reaching zero emissions in 2050.
