Business magnate Thor Stadil has been acquitted in the Maritime and Commercial Court in Copenhagen following a protracted legal battle concerning profit sharing initiated by former business partner.

Thor Stadil, whose family business is behind the carrier Thorco Projects, has been acquitted by the Maritime and Commercial Court in Copenhagen, Denmark, in a legal battle concerning profit sharing.

The protracted court case was brought by Morten Ernst, who was a key employee for the Stadil family but dismissed in 2014.
