CMA CGM launches container discount for importers in Los Angeles and Long Beach

Container line CMA CGM will give a rebate to US importers who pick up their containers quickly at the terminals in Long Beach and Los Angeles in order to ease bottlenecks. The incentive program will provide up to USD 200 per container.

French container carrier CMA CGM launches a special bonus scheme aimed at getting US importers to pick up their containers earlier from the hard-pressed terminals in Los Angeles and Long Beach on the US west coast.

According to a services update on the carrier's website, CMA CGM will offer importers an incentive program with a discount of USD 100 per container picked up by the importers during daytime on weekdays within the first eight days of lying in the terminal.
