Maersk to soon finish its report on sexual assault claims

Maersk has completed its investigation into the sexual assault claims from a USMMA student where five naval officers were suspended as a consequence. The company expects to soon be able to reveal more about the investigation, Maersk tells ShippingWatch. Clarified.

Maersk has completed the investigation it launched after a student at United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) claimed that she had been sexually assaulted on board a Maersk vessel.

The carrier expects to be able to say more about the investigation before long, Maersk comments to ShippingWatch.
