P&O Ferries did not succeed in resuming sailings over the English Channel during Easter. The carrier risks having to pay far higher insurance premiums as a consequence of a lower safety rating, reports The Telegraph.

Controversial ferry operator P&O risks having to pay far higher insurance premiums, reports newspaper The Telegraph.

This is due to the carrier’s safety rating having dropped from ”medium” to ”very low” after the mass sacking of nearly 800 employees roughly one month ago.
