Pilot project with sustainable fuel leads to 75% CO2 reduction

Biofuel supplier GoodFuels and dry bulk carrier Spar Shipping have achieved a reduction by at least 75% in both CO2 and sulfur emissions during a trial with sustainable biofuel on dry bulk ship Spar Lynx.

Dry bulk ship Spar Lynx recently completed a voyage from the Netherlands to Turkey using sustainable biofuel – resulting in a 75% reduction of the vessel’s CO2 emissions.
