BlackRock acquires large stake in Golden Ocean

The US asset manager now owns more than 5% of shares in the Frederiksen-controlled dry bulk operator.

One of the world’s biggest asset management firms, BlackRock, has bought so many shares of dry bulk operator Golden Ocean that its shareholding has reached 5.07% – an investment of approximately USD 90m, reveals a release issued by the Frederiksen-controlled company to the Oslo stock exchange.
