Svitzer and unions land eleventh-hour deal

Long-lasting negotiations for a new collective agreement for 600 Australian employees have resulted in a new a deal that now needs to pass a vote.

A lengthy conflict between Svitzer and Australian unions seems to be over after the two parties have entered an agreement in the eleventh hour, the Maersk-owned towage service operator tells ShippingWatch.
