German state bank considers bigger loans for shipping
German state bank KfW considers granting bigger loans for shipping following a year in which the major, traditional shipping banks have cut down on lending for the struggling industry.

German shipowners are in need of financing after several banks have cut down on their lending portfolios to shipping. Now the German state bank KfW - the 3rd largest bank in Germany - might be ready with a helping hand, writes Bloomberg.
