
German shipowners are in need of financing after several banks have cut down on their lending portfolios to shipping. Now the German state bank KfW - the 3rd largest bank in Germany - might be ready with a helping hand, writes Bloomberg.
"I can imagine increasing the volume of our ship business - if the risk-return profile is right," says KfW CFO Bernd Loewen to Bloomberg.
