Nordea: Shipping market is stabilizing

Major Nordic shipping bank Nordea, which published its financial report for the first quarter today, is now talking about a beginning stabilization within the shipping segment.


Nordea is starting to see the first signs of stability in the two segments that have so far been labelled as problem areas. In addition to "Denmark" in general, this concerns the major shipping area, where Nordea belongs to the group of banks with fairly large lendings to the shipping industry.
