Danish CEO to head DNV merger

Danish Henrik Overgaard Madsen, CEO of Det Norske Veritas, DNV, since 2006, is set to become CEO of the new major classification bureau formed with the Germanischer Lloyd merger.

DNV will take charge of a majority of the executive positions when the merger with Germanischer Lloyd is completed.

Henrik Overgaard Mandsen (photo), CEO of DNV since 2006, will also become CEO of the new major classification bureau, which was announced at the end of 2012. Seven out 10 executive positions will be filled by DNV people.
