Greeks buying record number of bulk ships

Greek shipowners have reached the highest level of dry bulk ships ordered since 2008. A sign that the rates will improve, analysts say.

The Greek shipping industry seems to believe in an improvement of the dry bulk market. At any rate, Greek purchasing of dry bulk ships for transporting iron ore has reached the highest level since 2008, writes Greek newspaper Ekathimerini.
