The Greek shipping industry seems to believe in an improvement of the dry bulk market. At any rate, Greek purchasing of dry bulk ships for transporting iron ore has reached the highest level since 2008, writes Greek newspaper Ekathimerini.
In the first quarter of this year, Greek shipowners ordered 12 capesize ships, according to Greek broker Golden Destiny. That's the highest number since the beginning of 2008. and it's a signal that the Greek are ready to exploit the lowest prices in a decade.
